Wishing you all a merry what-the-fuck-mas!
Idea #1
Rawdogging the walk - So this is the idea of removing your headphones and literally just walking around like that. Everyone’s boo-ing at me, I can hear it. No really, It’s fun, because nature really do be providing noises for you to listen to. Crunchy leaf, broken twig, slurpy mud, angry wind, sloshy puddle, barky dog, to name but a few of the sounds you might experience. I think moving into the 2025 space (when engaging in the classic linear time model forced upon us by society and physics i guess), I welcome you to try not multitasking for once. Turn off the podcast (they’re done!) and let the world be the podcast! Stop drowing out your inner monologue with outer noise. Your subconsious has things to say, and on a lovely walk could be the time it screams out at you. Orrrrr… sometimes you can run the simulation (imagine) and pretend you’re being interviewed. There are literally so many fun things to do other than put headphones in.
Cry for Help #2
How many books? - I just got back from dog-sitting 2 dogs and a cat for ONE NIGHT, and in my bag I packed 4 books. 1 of these books is one I am actively reading. The other 3 were books I had not even started. Meanwhile, the 2nd book that I’m halfway through didn’t even make it into the bag… It’s a level of psychosis that has no cure.
The books in question were - Dracula, The Rebulic, Duncton Wood and The Great God Pan. Reader, I didn’t even have time to read even a page of any book. This is less of an idea and more of a cry for help.
Bunch of Lies #3
Just Brazils? Just a pack of lies. - Found a brand of chocolate I’d never experienced before, called Just Brazils. I brought them home with me, in exchange for money; the classic custom of our times. They were actually really delicious - a solid 7/10 - but… the name… It’s simply gonna go ahead and not be true. They’re chocolate covered LIES!
Doodle Segment
Someone please take the graphics tablet away from me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
See you next week, if I decide to engage in classic linear time. Otherwise perhaps I’ve already seen you.
Podcasts became done when they started putting me to sleep rather than keeping me inquisitive and alert.
